Thamesmead Council first inspired this amusing little piece. In the process of creating new waterways from the old marshy Armoury district of London, they asked Sioban to design a set of finials for the four piers of the main bridge.
Although the contract never materialised, it set off a body of work which was to spawn many more frogs.
