This delicate slipper is part of a series of four shoes - one for each season.
SPRING INSTEP is of course the gentle quiet season which creeps up on us unheard and unseen. Often the first we know of it is when the leaves have arrived, dyed that unlikely sap green.
Feathery ash leaves were cast into wax, formed around a cast of Penny's foot, and then cast into bronze in the studio.
