1998
A lifesize drawing of a larger than life character.
BRACEY'S BULL was a first started at the beginning of Sioban's adventure into copper work.
This drawing formed the template for a relief panel that was to be beaten and welded together as a wall decoration for the side of the old studio.
DOUGAL THE HIGHLAND BULL was created at this time, as part of the process of information gathering towards the copper work. Work was started on the bull but soon was superseded by the DANCING PARTNERS - a new challenge of making copper fish in the round.
Although this drawing no longer exists, the idea of making a lifesize bull is still compelling.
