TWO GOOD FISHES describes a metaphor for all close relationships.
These two were my favourite fish. They were the survivors of a collection of five fish in a large round glass bowl, which inspired a number of etchings and sculpture over a period of time.
The fish motif has always been an important part of my 'language' - it evokes the companionship of swimming in a shoal - as well as how quickly the tide can turn.
Main print is hand tinted with watercolours, black & white prints also shown.
