Like Amy, this sad young chimp was found at Monkey World. He had not been there very long, but his history had led him to find it impossible to socialise with any of his own kind ... or the humans either.
The staff had hopes for his improvement, but could see he had been badly damaged and it would take time.
The other young chimps would tear about the enclosure and maraud in gangs - while this little fellow would keep himself apart from the others, and become tetchy and aggressive if any overtures were made to him.
Have any of us ever seen teenagers like this before?
